28/3 tuesday

This week were go to programme wear kimono but unfortunately I’m not very lucky because cannot wear kimono because the volunteer is limited. So I’m just looking

This is a little bit information about kimono history
KABUKI = 430 character, kimono, only wear for kabuki character, outfit for male and symbol of samurai outfit divides into 3
  • ·         Shogun (top samurai)
  • ·         Khamishimo (small servant)
  • ·         Totea (wear when cold season)

One of the kimono he show is the kimono wear for wife shogun = that kimono specialy design for kimono for wife of shogun.

#some of the reader might thinking what the different between the yukata and kimoto, it is a big different between two these traditional wearing.
  • ·         Yukata = use material cotton fabric
  • ·         Kimono = use special fabric only have in japan(actualy I’m not remember the name of the fabric) which is colour fabric that long lasting fabric and expensive and the technique was made in kimono is very traditional which take a long time to finished 1 kimono, it was amazing

Basically in the back of kimono the must be something like box in the back of wearer which is it call technique of ikatan = layer belakang ;  inner palace, highe and bermakna that was name ibenakura=ibo

Type of kimono divides into 2
  • ·         Sakezone = after dry (colour first before dry)
  • ·         Atezone = (not really remember what the mean)
The process of kimono to finished it takes 1 half month for normal kimono to finished. And for special pieces of kimono like kimono design for shogun wife it take 2year to finished the kimono. It takes a long time.

The kimono that he shows to us is the special design kimono and most expensive kimono which is
  • ·        Kimono made of by chocolate by the layer of the fabric being apply a chocolate and quality chocolate.
  • ·         Kimono of shogun it has been request by some state to put in a muzium as a pameran but being effuse by the creator
  • ·         Kimono of shogun wife
  • ·         Kimono of special design ( red colour) it hard to translate behind the design
  • ·         Kimono of special design ( black colour) hard to explain what meaning behind the design.
